Collection:
Q: How does Collection Score work?
A: Collection Score has been completely re-worked, each card has an assigned value based on a variety of attributes including Rarity group, the year it was released (older collectibles become more valuable year over year), Max Print Limit or Card Count Limit, among others.
Q: Will my content be carried over from the Beta to the full release?
A: We are planning to have all acquired collectibles, Awards, Coins, and Collection Score carry over to the full release of Marvel Collect! However, we are in Beta bugs and issues may arise that need to be handled on a case by case or overall basis.
Q: What are Groups?
A: Certain Sets are released in multiple groups over time. These groups are called Waves.
Q: Why did the Coins and Collectibles I acquired during the tutorial not carry over?
A: Similar to other Topps Apps, currency and collectibles acquired as a Guest account are not carried over to an existing user account after sign-in.
We are sorry if this has caused you any confusion or frustration, however, you are able to claim the Starter Heroes packs from the Store, which also includes the Coins you earned during the tutorial.
Q: What are relative rarity levels?
A: The relative rarity levels (Common, Uncommon, Rare, etc.) are assigned to collectibles based on several factors, but the main defining characteristic is how difficult it was to acquire the card in question at the time of its original release.
Q: What are the relative rarity levels for special Sets and Collectibles?
A: Rarity levels are as follows (listed from least rare to most rare)
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Super Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
Q: What are the relative rarity levels for Base Tiers?
A: Base Tier rarity levels are as follows (listed from least rare to most rare)
- Base Tier 1 (White)
- Base Tier 2 (Green)
- Base Tier 3 (Red)
- Base Tier 4 (Blue)
- Base Tier 5 (Black)
- Base Tier 6
- Base Tier 7
- Base Tier 8
- Base Tier 9
- Base Tier 10
Please note that the Base Tier 1 - 5 can be acquired from the majority of Packs in the Store and can be earned from Fusion.
Q: What are the differences between the two rarity groups listed above?
A: Base Tiers 1 - 5 refer to the collectibles that you encounter in almost every pack in the app. These collectibles will have similar images and design, but they may have different color variations at different rarities. Base Tiers 6 - 10 are considered specialty variants and may be earned via the Fusion feature or in specialty packs.
Legendary, Epic, Super Rare, Rare, etc. refer to special collectibles from unique specialty Sets. As these collectibles have unique designs and often times are more desirable than Base collectibles, these two rarity structures are kept separate.

How do I trade
Having collected physical card packs my entire life, I'd be genuinely intrigued by a thorough explanation of HOW hexidecimals (ones n zeros being interpreted by an OS) can hold a constant value. With the base concept in mind, that even IF I bought a full set, it would only discount me the opportunity for any/all chase, variant, relic, etc. cards. As they're never part of a set. That is the only thing cash could, and still does guarantee me, in the real world economy of card collecting.
This also happens to be the EXACT antithesis to the idea of Diamonds as a currency. The aforementioned then guaranteeing the "Entitled Generation" to said varieties of cards, without actually subjecting themselves to the idea of collecting....along with its ups n downs, bundles of trash-ready foil with garbage pulls and dupes in stacks as its salvageable remnants. To eventually find that 1:16587 in the 2nd to last pack of an already but understandably overpriced case. And that case is the closest thing that you'll ever get to a logistical (not actual) guarantee that something of value will appear in your cardboard abundance. However, it may be the Auto you don't want/need or a dupe from your last case breaking adventure. That's why cards now hold value, and stuff from the 90s plummeted into a valueless abyss. Only back then, the sheer number produced was your eventual guarantee of just about anything. Same with comic books of that decade. Only now, it's Pay To Win Diamonds? As you do occasionally suggest that this is a "game".
Topps, the floor is all yours. Some analytics would suffice.
